Pastoral Visitations During Bushfire Season – Cooma

산불 위험 기간 사목 방문 - Cooma

저는 지금 산불위험기간 동안 남부 해안가 5개 본당의 사목 방문을 마치고 이제 막 쿠마(Cooma)에 도착했습니다.

매우 슬프게도, 어제(23일) 이곳 쿠마지역 인근에서 세 명의 용감한 미국인 소방관들이 화재 진압용 비행기 추락으로 사망했습니다.

내일 아침 쿠마 본당 신자들과 함께 봉헌할 미사에서, 우리는 이 용감한 소방관들과 미국에 있는 그들의 가족, 친구들을 기억할 것입니다.

여러분들도 여러분의 기도 안에서 이들을 함께 기억해주길 바랍니다.

저는 앞으로도 계속해서 진다바인(Jindabyne)과 투뭇(Tumut) 본당들을 방문할 것입니다.

우리 모두에게 어려운 시간이지만, 서로를 위해 계속 기도하기로 합시다.


I have now arrived at Cooma having concluded my pastoral visitation of the five parishes of our South Coast during this dangerous bushfire season.

Yesterday, here in the district of Cooma, three brave American firefighters died tragically when their water bombing plane crashed nearby.

When I gather with Cooma parishioners for Mass tomorrow morning, we will remember these brave men, their families, and friends back in the United States of America.

You may wish to do likewise in your prayers.

I will also be visiting the parishes of Jindabyne and Tumut in these days.

We continue to pray for each other in this dangerous season.
