Australian Catholic Youth Ministry Convention 2018
September 21-23 - Diocese of Parramatta
Plans for the 2018 Australian Catholic Youth Ministry Convention (ACYMC) are well underway with keynote speakers, discussion processes and workshops now finalised. Registration is open and we are ready to welcome up to 500 attendees from across the country.
The ACYMC is the premier gathering for those who minister to young people across Australia. It welcomes all those working in parishes, schools, dioceses, universities, movements, communities, ministries, social services and organisations.
Previously held in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014, the Convention was not held in 2016 due to a clash with World Youth Day. Now, 10 years since the first national gathering of youth ministers, this convention is a landmark event in the Australian Catholic Youth Ministry landscape.
As many of you may be attending ACYMC for the first time, this newsletter includes an overview of the key program elements, speakers and experiences included in this year’s event. For further details, or to register, visit
